Shawn and I met in San Marcos, through a mutual friend, and immediately bonded over 90's Nickelodeon shows. 

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR VENUE?

We chose Treebeards because the food is delicious, the price is right, and it's Astros adjacent (Go Stros!).

ADVICE TO OTHER COUPLES PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?

When planning a wedding, get ready for LOTS of unsolicited advice, haha. Our advice (unsolicited) would be made a list of your non-negotiables. These are the things you're willing to spend more time and money on, and 10 years down the road you'll still appreciate the effort that went into them. For Shawn and I, it was the photographer, music, and personal touches like vows and heirloom wedding rings. We made sure all other elements were kept super simple.
